The next three photos of works by Farah Al Qasimi

The following works are from the special exhibit “A Year in Art: 2050.” I invite you to read about it here.

Andrea Ursuta, Predators R Us
Joan Snyder, Dark Strokes Hope
Niki de Saint Phalle, Tirage

The following three photos are three of six by Gerhard Richter, homages to John Cage.

Karel Apel, Hip Hip Hoorah
Just a Dali, nothing to see here!!

These three are details of an assemblage by Martial Raysse, Necrepole.

Cildo Meireles, Babel 2001
Raimond Chavez, Disco Chavez

The following five photos are from a roomful of Martin Kippenberger, a German artist I discovered in the modern art museum in Vienna back in 2003. I love the wryness of his work.

OK so not a Kippenberger, but he would have appreciated it.
This was a gorgeous and terrifying film by Bruce Connor of the detonation of the atom bomb in the Bikini atoll.
Back out into the world, along the Millennium Bridge.

I found the pocket park I saw a brief mention of in a “secret London” Facebook post!
